On the way home!


I've been out and about, doing my annual research trip in the Great White North, and well out of touch of the Internet.  Good bye, bears, caribou and seals!  Next stop, family and Syldavia!


This healthy fellow headed north as he ought to.  I went in the other direction.

    Hello all,


    My trip certainly was interesting and productive, though travel at sea was hampered by persistent fogs. That is life in that part of the world. Lluis, the bear is still in excellent health, or he was when I last saw him at any rate. As I said, we both stayed away from each other, which is the best one can hope for in such circumstances. I moved my camp and changed the project work plan to give him a very wide berth. No point in asking for trouble!
